Museum Guide

Washington, D.C. has many museums. The most famous of these, the Smithsonian, is actually a collection of 19 museums, 9 research centers, and the National Zoo. Below you will find location, price, and hours information for some of the District's most popular museums. Smithsonian museums are listed first, but other museums are also included.

Smithsonian Museums

African Art Museum

International Spy Museum

National Gallery of Art

Admission/Hours: All tickets are date and time specific. Purchase online. Adults $17.95 + tax; Seniors (60+) $14.95 + tax; Children (5-11) $14.95 + tax.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Admission: Free, but admission to the Permanent Exhibition requires a timed pass. Request passes well ahead of time!
