A Message from Michelle M. Wu, Director of the Library and Professor of Law

Dear Friends and Colleagues:Michelle Wu

I am pleased to welcome you to the Georgetown University Law Library website.

The Edward Bennett Williams Law Library and the John Wolff International and Comparative Law Library contain extensive collections of print, microform, and rare materials available for the use of the Georgetown community and legal scholars worldwide. Members of the Friends of the Library program and our Public Patron Program also enjoy all onsite library privileges.

We also provide access to an extensive collection of electronic legal materials, all of which are linked through our website. These links lead to materials available free to everyone online as well as commercial databases which are generally limited to members of the Georgetown community.

To accompany these physical and virtual collections, the library has developed a number of innovative services, including online tutorials and chat-reference, intended to assist our users in finding information in whatever format is most efficient and useful to them.

We hope that the library in both its physical and virtual manifestations will serve you well. If you have ideas about how we can serve you better, please let us know.
