Georgetown University Law Center mourns the death of Professor and Law Librarian Robert Oakley, who died unexpectedly Saturday, September 29, of cardiac arrest. He was 61. Georgetown Law summarized many of Bob Oakley's achievements in a press statement.
During the November 6 Memorial honoring Bob Oakley, Dean Alexander Aleinikoff announced that the E.B.Williams Law Library reading room would be named the "Robert L. Oakley Reading Room".
