Government Publications Collections

Federal Depository Library ProgramThe Library is a partial depository for U.S. government publications. In addition to the official publication of many of primary sources discussed above, our selective collection includes executive agency reports and congressional and presidential materials. Most of these materials are integrated into the Library’s main collection. Bound copies of the Congressional Record, the Serial Set and selected depository items are housed on the Williams Library's Reading Room Mezzanine. A comprehensive set of congressional publications, including bills, hearings and reports, is also available on microfiche in Media Services. Recent House and Senate reports and documents are kept at the Williams Circulation Desk. For assistance with these materials, please consult a reference librarian or Media Services staff.
