Listed below are databases that are useful for researching international economic law. They are made available through the Georgetown University Law Library, and are accessible only to members of the GULC community.

Readex United Nations Index provides to access to current and retrospective (1946- present) U.N. documents and publications

Associations Unlimited
Contains detailed contact and background information for approximately 440,000 nonprofit membership associations in all fields - international and U.S. national, regional, state and local groups plus IRS data on nonprofit organizations. Also includes descriptive materials - brochures, logos and membership application forms.

BNA Publications
Includes International Environment Reporter, International Trade Reporter, World Intellectual Property Law Report, and WTO Reporter.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO)
Scholarly documents from leading international relations research centers. Complete texts of working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences. Also, journal issues and books. Coverage begins in 1991.

Current Index to Legal Periodicals
Topical access to about 500 law school reviews and other selected legal journals under 100 subject headings. In addition, full tables of contents of all journals indexed. (From Gallagher Law Library, Univ. of Washington.)

Current Legal Information (UK)
Note : This database requires a password. GULC students, faculty, or staff, click here for that information.
Includes Current Law, Current Law Case Citator, BADGER Grey Paper Index, Legal Journals Index, and Financial Journals Index.

EIU: Economist Intelligence Unit
EIU provides analysis and forecasts of the political, economic and business environment in more than 180 countries. Includes reports on industries, country data (including economic indicators and forecasts) and daily country analysis.

Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals
Topical access to approximately 470 international and comparative law periodicals and 26 collections of essays. Coverage begins in 1985.

Index to Legal Periodicals & Books
Citations to articles from over 700 legal publications, plus monographs published in 1993 or later. Periodical coverage begins in August 1981.

InterAm Database
Legal information pertaining to trade and investment throughout the Americas. Includes primary sources (statutes, regulations, technical standards, official gazettes, constitutions, case law and treaties) and secondary sources (commentaries, law review articles and analyses).

JSTOR

Legal Scholarship Network (Social Science Research Network)
The goal of LSN is to facilitate the distribution of scholarly information related to law to legal, economics, and business scholars and practitioners throughout the world. LSN issues a series of electronic "journals" of abstracts -- of working papers as well as articles accepted for publication -- in various areas of law. These abstracts are distributed principally via email, over the Internet, along with weekly announcements. In addition, law school working papers are posted on the LSN website for downloading in Adobe Acrobat format. GULC faculty, staff and students can register to receive email from LSN by using this form.

Social Sciences Index
Indexes articles in all areas of the social sciences, from 350 English-language journals. Covers ant qhropology, ethnic studies, economics, environment, geography, health, law and criminology, public administration, political science, psychology, sociology, urban studies and women's studies. 1983 - present. Choose "Humanities and Social Sci Retro" for 1907-present.

Statistical Universe
Abstracts and index to U.S. & state governments and privately published & international and intergovernmental statistical sources (ASI, SRI & IIS).

TIARA: US Treaties and International Agreements (Select "Oceana Online" to begin search)
Contains over 12000 treaties and agreements, the earliest of which dates back to 1783. It also contains Senate Treaty Documents from no. 96-1 through the current Congress, and the US Department documents from DOS 86-1 to the present.

United Nations Treaty Collection
Collection includes 5 categories of treaty-related data. Status of multilateral treaties deposited with the Secretary General, UN Treaty series, recently deposited multilateral treaties, photographs of Treaty Signature ceremonies and Titles of multilateral treaties in the official UN languages.

World News Connection
Successor to the Daily Reports from the FBIS and the JPRS Reports provided through the NTIS. Contains the full text summaries of non-U.S. newspaper articles, conference proceedings, radio and television broadcasts, periodicals and non-classified technical reports.

World Trade Online
Immediate access to the latest in trade news. Each day's complete issue of Inside U.S. Trade, plus retrospective coverage going back 5 years. Also available: News from Around the World and exclusive special reports.
