Request a Library Purchase (Faculty)

Faculty members play essential roles as specialists, and are encouraged to recommend new titles and other materials for use in our research collections. Especially useful are recommendations in nonlegal areas.

To request items for purchase, contact interim Collection Development Librarian, Janice Anderson, at 202-662-9180or International and Foreign Law Librarian, Mabel Shaw at 202-662-9171, e-mail shawm@law.georgetown.edu.

You can also use the Title Recommendation Form on the Library catalog GULLiver to make purchase suggestions. Books purchased as office copies for faculty use will be routed to the faculty member after processing by library staff. In unusual circumstances, the purchase process may be expedited. Generally, however, the process can take up to two months or longer to complete.
