Upon request, the Library will deliver books from our collection to faculty. In addition, the Library will locate and photocopy one copy of an article, case, or other material and deliver it to faculty, usually within one business day of the request. Book requests can be made using the "Request this Item" button on GULLiver, the Library's online catalog. Requests for current articles can be made selecting recent articles from the Current Index to Legal Periodicals and submitting your request electronically through that page. FYI: A similar service was formerly available through Index to Legal Periodicals (now Legal Periodicals and Books) and Legal Resource Index (now LegalTrac), but is no longer available. You may, however, locate articles yourself through the successor index services - Legal Periodicals and Books and Legal Trac. In addition, you can request books and articles via e-mail to lawfacserv@law.georgetown.edu. For further information, contact Jennifer Locke Davitt, the Faculty Services Librarian at 202-662-9145.
Within the constraints of the Copyright Act, the Faculty Services Department will locate and photocopy one copy of an article, case, or other material usually within one business day of the request. For book and photocopy requests, please fill out the on-line request form, send your request via e-mail to lawfacserv@law.georgetown.edu, or phone Jennifer Locke Davitt directly at 202-662-9145. Mass duplications for class use are processed through the Law Center's Faculty Support Office at 202-662-9280.
