About This

Faculty Interlibrary Loan

If a book, journal article, or other item is not available in the library, we will borrow or get a photocopy of the material for you from another library. If the item is available in the Washington metropolitan area, we are usually able to obtain it within a few days to a week. If the item is not available locally, it may take two to three weeks to arrive at the Law Center. If you need the material by a specific date, please let us know so that we can make every effort to obtain the material in a timely manner.

You can place an interlibrary loan request yourself using the ILLiad system. If you would prefer, you can send your request by email to law-ill@law.georgetown.edu.
