Photocopying and Scanning

Photocopiers are available to all library patrons. Scanners are available only to the Georgetown Law community, including law students, faculty and staff.

Photocopy Prices

Photocopies are 8 cents each however photocopy machines do not take coins. You must use a Georgetown University issued GOCard or purchase a guest copy card. Copy cards can be purchased at GOCard Deposit Stations for $1. Deposit stations are used to add money to GOCards and guest cards; they accept $1, $5, $10, & $20 bills and do not give change.

Members of the Georgetown Community can add money to GOCards online.

Copy Card FAQ

• Can I use a copy card from Main Campus? Can I use my Law Center card at the main campus?
  GOCards and copy cards can be used at all Georgetown facilities.
  
• Is a credit card or check payment available for photocopying?
  No, all copying requires a copy card.
  
• Where can I get a new card?
  Deposit Stations are located in Williams library, Wolff Library, near the Sport & Fitness entrance and by the cafeteria entrance in McDonough.
  
• What do I do if my card won't work?
  Visit the GOCard office (Sport & Fitness Building 2110), call 202-662-9056, or email: gocard@law.georgetown.edu

Photocopier Locations

• Williams Library: Reading Room in the Loewinger Lounge, 3rd floor copy room, and 4th floor center section room 425.
• Wolff Library: 3rd floor Hotung

Digital Scanner

Self-service scanners are available for use by Georgetown Law students, faculty and staff. Enter Georgetown Law NetID and password to scan pages and send a digital copy to your email address.

Scanner Locations

• Williams Library: Reading Room in the Loewinger Lounge, and IST computer lab on 3rd floor
• Wolff Library: next to the circulation desk
