Following is information on photocopying and scanning at the Georgetown Law Library. Photocopiers are available to all library patrons. Scanners are available to the Georgetown Law community, including law students, faculty and staff.
There are no coin-operated photocopiers in the Library. All photocopy machines operate using card swipe readers. In order to use the copier you must either have a Georgetown University issued GoCard or purchase a quest GoCard to make photocopies. Cards may be purchased for one dollar from GoCard Deposit Stations located in the Copy Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd Floors of the Library. Wolff Library patrons may purchase copy cards from the Deposit Station in the Fitness Center. The Deposit stations are also used for adding money to Gocards and accept $1, $5, $10, & $20 bills.
The law library provides self-service scanners for use by Georgetown students, faculty and staff
wishing to scan items in our collection. Simply enter your Georgetown Law netid and password and
you can scan pages from a book on the flat-bed scanner, or use the page feeder feature on the top
of the machine. The scanner will automatically send a pdf copy of your scan to your email address.
Please direct questions and requests for assistance to the Circulation Desk on the main floor of either library location.
