sidebar content link
The Georgetown Law Library is pleased to announce that we now have a browser toolbar available. This browser works in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. You can download it here: http://georgetownlawlibrary.mylibrarytoolbar.com
Below is a summary of the features and elements of the toolbar we've included in this initial release. Updates to the toolbar are installed automatically unless you disable this feature. This means that you'll get additional links to new content and services as we add them to the toolbar. If you have any suggestions about the toolbar, please let us know.
The search option allows you to directly search these websites: Georgetown Law Library, GULLiver (the Georgetown Law Library Catalog), Georgetown Law Center, Google Scholar and Wikipedia. A final option in this part of the toolbar lets you search whichever site you're currently viewing, whether or not that site has a search engine of its own.
We've selected the most popular links from our website to give you direct access to these destinations from the toolbar. These include links to Exams, Research Gudies, the E-Journal Finder, Law Center Email, our catalog and GoCard information.
The top entries in this list are to the most popular law-related databases used by our students: LexisNexis, Westlaw, CALI, and Hein Online. The following section contains an alphabetical list of most of our other licensed databases. The links will work on or off campus for all authorized Georgetown users.
The toolbar allows us to integrate feeds from selected blogs so you can get headlines directly in the toolbar. Our toolbar includes all posts made to Georgetown Law Library's Due Process Blog, as well as everything posted to the Georgetown Law Faculty Blog.
This final link takes you directly to the Live Help feature of our website, which allows Georgetown law students, staff and faculty to chat directly with our reference librarians to receive help with legal research. When the reference desk is open, you can use this service to chat live with us.
