Roger V. Skalbeck is the Associate Law Librarian for Electronic Resources and Services. Roger has also worked for more than a decade in academic law libraries and private law firm libraries in Washington, D.C., Minneapolis and Chicago.  Roger is the Vice-Chair of the Copyright Committee of the American Association of Law Libraries, and he is a former Board Member of the Law Librarians' Society of Washington, D.C.

Roger writes a legal technology column called "Tech Talk" for Law Library Lights as well as the Intellectual Property Update column for Legal Information Alert. Roger has a B.A. in German Studies from Macalester College, an M.L.I.S. from Dominican University, and a J.D. from George Mason School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
